Drawing with chance as a method could mean several things, so far I have explored:
- Dripping ink
- Using rice to soak up ink
- Throwing a graphite covered ball
- Dropping ink from a height
- Blind drawing
- Sprinkling brusho granules onto a wet ground
- Dropping torn pieces of paper from a height
- Ink ice cubes on wet and dry grounds

Dripping ink and catching the drips to make another drawing. |

Ink ice cubes melting on a dry ground |

Ink ice cubes melting on a wet ground |
The most successful drawings have been the ones made with drips of ink and using rice to soak up ink. Both of these methods are chance based, as I am unable to change the drips direction and I have no control over where the rice will land when dropped from a height.
